{more drama....}

but only in the form of a sneak peek! ;)
It's just another vantage point of my altered piece of plastic.
And I recycled this ribbon from a new pair of pj's it happened to be wrapped around....how cool is that?

{would you believe....}

My fingers have had laryngitis?

It could be a legitimate excuse.....;)
"yeah, boss? Well, I can't come to work because my fingers have laryngitis."
Oh, well! I tried. Will this appease you instead? Here's my December Kreatorville Krafts pages......

And how about my  January set......

I love the Pixie Stix from Pink Paislee in the January Kit at Kreatorville Krafts. I have so much left even after using it on three pages!

The Pink Paislee stamps in this kit where a blast to play with too. Not to mention there are TWO sets of alphabets!

And I have one last thing before I run off and start playing with my February Kreatorville Krafts kit and working on my Dotty Divas challenge......

It's the sneeky peek at my Recycled project for January. What do you think I did with this lovely piece of plastic? {{and I'll delete any rude comments you might think of leaving....;)   }}

{eventually it all comes to an end}

My how times flies when you're having fun AND December rolls into town. I can't believe it's December 30, 2009. Before we know it it will be 2010! Where have I been? Hanging with my brood. Enjoying the time away. We snuck off to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, drove around looking at Christmas lights, spent some time with my parents, played video games till our fingers bled---- ok delete that! No bleeding occurred.....snicker
I have this little goody waiting to be released over at Kreatorville Krafts.

And a couple of other projects to fling at you soon....

 Not to mention I received my box 'o goodies from Sassafras Lass and the end of the year sale box from Maya Road. I've been dying for some scrappy time but I can't pull myself away from Super Collapse 3. I'm on level 13- stop rolling your eyeball at me. ;)
So with the vacuuming done and the laundry in place, I'm off to load the dishwasher and prepare for an evening of peace and quiet. I hope when 2010 rolls into town it finds you and yours~ together, blessed and better people for having one more year to add to your story.
cheers!

{december daily}

Day eleven....

day twelve and thirteen...

back of day thirteen....

I'm having a blast keeping up with my December Daily this year and getting excited for Christmas break too. I'm more excited than Random Teenager #1 right now, she thinks they shouldn't have a break. Go figure! Yesterday she was working on a DNA model with her friend after school. And the boys are preparing for their Science Fair projects. It's not like they won't have school stuff to work on while they're on break though.

I found some Sassafras Lass goodies on my door step today! I can't wait to play around with them. And then I found out I won some American Crafts goodies over on the Cards blog today! How cool is that?!

Before I go I'll leave you with a little sneak peek from my Kreatorville Krafts project using the December Kit.

Enjoy your Wednesday!

{daily* nine and counting}

I'm right where I should be in my daily, BUT I'm a tad bit behind on my photos. There just isn't enough time in my Mondays as I'd like there to be;) I've only taken out one page from the original design of my daily. That's pretty excellent if I must say so myself. Next year I 'm definitely going to think about making my album size larger so I can fit in a few more photos for event filled days.

I'll have a few more photos to post tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get in some wrapping whilest the kiddos are in school!

And have you heard??
I designing for Dotty Divas {check the link out on the left}!
I'm soooo excited to be on their team!
Not to mention I'm almost done creating with my December Kit from Kreatorville Krafts. I'm having so much fun with the kit~ thanx Keandra!

{something for my list...}

I found one of the top ten things on my list for Santa this year. Shades of Light has some phenomenal home decor items. The mirrored furniture is on my "When the Kids Finally Move Out" list. But I think for now we can have one of these.....

My Grandmother with the Chickens had the right idea when she left the plastic protector on her lovely furniture. Hmmmmmm, food for thought!

{daily five~eight}

I printed off the photo from our trip to the airport Saturday night and added to my daily*five. The tree in the lobby was lovely. Here's my journaling on the back of the photo.

So far all caught up. I'm already thinking ahead to tomorrow's photos and events- I need to find those mustaches i printed from elsie's blog.... I have a big test tomorrow, some things to hand over for our school craft fair, and tonight we're supposed to be getting some of that snow they had all over the left side of the country. It's been sleeting here for the last couple of hours already. Did i mention I won a little Christmas goody from Sassafras Lass??
Sassafras Santa is THE BEST!

{ daily*five and goody bags}

I had to find this photo for my 25 Days of Christmas journaling. We've been watching the ABC Family channel for all of our favorite holiday movies and even some of our favorite kid movies {like Harry Potter weekend.....} I've printed their advertisement from their website on some cardstock. This Santa is the cutest!

When I was getting ready to pull out the decorations for the Christmas tree Iast week knew I had some leftover goodies from my Kreatorville Kraft November Kit. Every year the kiddos receive a new ornament for our tree and i wanted to put them in something special this year.
I had these cute little brown bags, so I folded down the tops to make them a slightly shorter. I used my KK scraps, some Making Memories ribbon and Prima flowers to make name tags for all the bags.
I gave them to the kiddos Thanksgiving weekend when we put up our tree. They worked out perfect. And the kids thought they were cute!

Do you have a similar holiday tradition~
I'd love to hear if you give your children new ornaments every year?
