last day of school for this week....
movie day for those Accelerated Reader winners {and I played chaperone during the afternoon shift},
and finally cleaning,
cleaning,
decorating,
and more cleaning for Random-teenager's birthday party today.
She's having a small get together~ Harry Potter style!
There will be some Harry Potter Scene It,
a little Harry Potter Clue,
and tons of their favorite Harry Potter movies throughout the night.
Pizza and popcorn anyone??
Before all the guests arrived we were shopping for Winter Formal dresses!
Big Daddy text me and asked if we would be back before her party started or if HE had to entertain the guests while we were away! ;)
I told him we were dress shopping.....
it was like trying to put pants on a bear....
Needless to say Random-teenager isn't fond of dress shopping.
But she found something that made her happy.....
and looks lovely on her.
We made it home with some time to spare though!
All the Christmas decorations are up.
The Christmas presents are hidden away.
One birthday down,
one more to go.
And the handy-dandy guys are almost done with our siding!
I will be happy to have our house back.
I stepped out while I was writing this post up and ended up looking at the Flickr December Daily 2011 group photos for like an hour! This one went into my faves.....

Now it's my turn.
I need to get moving on my first few days in my own album now that the hustle and bustle of birthday fun and dress shopping has concluded for the weekend!

I remember when tHING 2 had that same little tree in her room (my kids have a xmas tree in their room all year round)...notice I said HAD..she decided in 7th grade that it had to go so I gifted it to my bffs little girl...I was so sad to see it go....
