Our Pretty Princess turned 12!

And we finally took a photo with Santa!

It's been crazy busy.
But all the holiday shopping is done.
And we have one more day of school!
We're all excited.....
and we can't wait {especially me}for our Christmas Break!!!!

Sunday, day 4.
We survived the teenage invasion.
And spent a quiet day at home enjoying each others company.

When I finally sat down yesterday
and started editing my photos,
my crafty mood was soon deflated.
My printer decided to go kaputz with the first picture!
{insert LONG sigh here}
I'm still shooting photos though.
You never know what Santa will put under the tree for me, right?
I'll have to make a trip to the photo center before the week is over though.
I'm itching to get some photos on my December Daily foundation!
Today, day 5.
There were reindeer races in class today,
followed by a cold 40* for recess.
I finished picking up all the items for Movie Night at school tomorrow.
And snapped a photo of the Pretty Princess reading the last 7 pages of Breaking Dawn by the Christmas tree. We even picked out the next series for her to read. She's done such a good job reading the last few months. She's managed to read 13 books and earned 88 accelerated reader points since September!

yesterday was a busy day!
last day of school for this week....
movie day for those Accelerated Reader winners {and I played chaperone during the afternoon shift},
and finally cleaning,
cleaning,
decorating,

and more cleaning for Random-teenager's birthday party today.
She's having a small get together~ Harry Potter style!
There will be some Harry Potter Scene It,
a little Harry Potter Clue,
and tons of their favorite Harry Potter movies throughout the night.
Pizza and popcorn anyone??

Before all the guests arrived we were shopping for Winter Formal dresses!
Big Daddy text me and asked if we would be back before her party started or if HE had to entertain the guests while we were away! ;)
I told him we were dress shopping.....
it was like trying to put pants on a bear....
Needless to say Random-teenager isn't fond of dress shopping.
But she found something that made her happy.....
and looks lovely on her.
We made it home with some time to spare though!
All the Christmas decorations are up.
The Christmas presents are hidden away.
One birthday down,
one more to go.
And the handy-dandy guys are almost done with our siding!
I will be happy to have our house back.

I stepped out while I was writing this post up and ended up looking at the Flickr December Daily 2011 group photos for like an hour! This one went into my faves.....

It's as simple as 8.5x11, 6x12 and baseball card sized protectors. I may add envelopes or more transparencies as needed, but for now I'm satisfied with my foundation. I picked up these number cards over at 2peas.

Day One.

I still need to add something to the back cover to conceal the bar code and another package of protectors to finish the 25th {and the rest of the month possibly}. Plus my set of five up there seems to be missing a little dude.

has come and gone at our house.
This is what our front yard looked like a couple of weeks ago....

before it rained for days.

And then it snowed for about 10 minutes!

Huge, fluffy flakes.

It was over before we knew what was really happening.

I think we were in shock as we watched ~~in horror~~ speechless.

Halloween came and went.

But not without a little friendly T.P.ing!

And I'm all geared up for Ali Edward's December Daily project.

I've finished up all the foundation pages and just need to pick up another package of 8.5x11 page protectors. I used a lot of American Crafts and My Minds Eye. Thrown in with a little bit of blank tags, doilies and baseball card protectors. I'm hoping to capture the entire month in photos......BUT.......we'll see what happens.

Random Teenager has a key role in her high school play.

She's been practicing diligently.

We even spied her in our local newspaper this week!

We're soooooo proud.

I thought I'd finally share my last Kreatorville Kraft projects with you.

I had to dust off my photo files just so I could share today

After I looked at these photos on my pc I ended up lining the bottom of the box with some pretty felt.

Then there is this card....

And this frame....

I stamped the embossed letters right after I turned the heat gun off to get that cool chevron effect. Chevron stamp you say? Picked that up at the local craft store for $1! My new favorite technique.

And finally this frame....

This time I glimmer misted those wooden letters instead.

I spent the weekend wrapping up the guts of my December Daily 2011

{hmmmmm, maybe I should see if I ever finished 2010 now that I have some free time}

It's been a while since I've created a mini album and I was a little excited to get started on my theme. I didn't even get around to making my December Daily for last Christmas.....oops! Since it's birthday time at my house I wanted to capture 10 things that make me happy right now. It doesn't take very much to make this girl smile.

The Sassafras chipboard alphas were perfect for this. And I stuck to black and white photos with all the colorful paper going on in the background. I love the coffee cup ring stamp but, for the life of me, can't figure out who made it.....oops!

I made this mini album using the August Kreatorville Kraft kit and I love the Pink Paislee overlays that are included. I knew immediately how perfect they would be for a mini project. I measured the overlays {3.5 x 5} and cut the paper to match. I pulled out a 4 pocket baseball card page protector {which I picked up from my local hobby shop} and cut it down so that one pocket would fit as an insert page for those white mini tags you see in pictures 1 and 2.

I made all the page tabs with my Quickutz die cut and my Cuttlebug.....yep the Cuttlebug has a great adaptor mat for your Quickutz dies. A Martha Stewart butterfly punch plus a few odds and ends....

So, there you have it. The beginnings of your own mini album. All you have to do is insert your own guts. Swing by tomorrow and I'll show you the theme of my mini!

Before I go I'll share with you the post that would have gone live on the Kreatorville blog this weekend. We'll be back and running before you know it, but until then....

I used the August Sketch as my inspiration, and the backpack is the handmade embellishment from the same kit. I'm super excited to be receiving my September kit this week, and get down and dirty with my scissors and glue. I have no idea which direction I'll be heading but....it's my birthday month- so I don't care :) We'll see which way the wind blows me when I finally sit down to create.

The kiddos are positively exhausted from their first full week of school and happy to have a three day weekend. Classes have been fun so far and homework has been plenty. I'm a proud Mama.

They've rearranged all the kindergarteners and we'll soon have a full class of 19 ~~engaging~~ ~~rambunctious crazy~~ lovely 5 year olds in full swing in our room. My teacher this year....LOVELY. I'm super excited to be assisting for someone with experience. And who also happens to be organized and fun. Makes the morning go by so fast.

We've spent the day relaxing and hanging out together. The rain finally came through. It's been unnaturally hot here the past couple of days. And now it's threatening to be lovely :)

I stumbled upon this quote and it had me cracking up! Most days I feel this way.....and the end result IS true. It seems to be my motto at work lately. Stay positive. It ~~has been~~ could be worse. Kill 'em with kindness. Don't stay in a shadowy room alone with a ~~crazy shady~~ misinterpreted parent.....I'm loving the new class though. Our teacher is friendly and wonderful, the kids are adorable, it's a haven of fun for three hours a day. I love getting back into a routine with my own kiddos at home{even though it's hectic and crazy right now for me}. But I haven't had enough time at my counter to work on anything crafty. I still have a few words to create with for THIS project even after creating this past weekend...here's NEST

Two posts in one day!

I've finished my pages for today! And I'm leaving the cover alone for now. The speach bubble is actually on a clear page of it's own.

The "word of the day" happens to be WONDER. I {heart} this photo I took while at work in the spring time. There was not a drop of rain to be found, but this enormous rainbow was in the sky among the clouds. I actually took that photo with my phone and tweaked the color, but it still shows up clearly.

How about a little tutorial on how I made the cute little embossed birds on my project?

First, you need your basics:

embossing pad

embossing powder

stamp

cardstock/paper

heat gun

The Embossing powder happens to be from "Stampendous!" and I picked it up at my local craft store.

1. I stamped my image with the watermark stamp pad first onto my cardstock.

2. Then I sprinkled the embossing powder on top of the stamped image. And tap it back into the container. I keep a paper plate handy to pour the powder back into the container. You could use a larger container to avoid making a mess, but I can't always remember companies name so I do a little more work. :)

3. I warm up my heat gun and apply heat to the powdered area until it is completely melted.

Warning!! It will be hot.

Can you believe I picked that stamp up for a $1???

I'm talking classes for the next 12 days....

As soon as I signed up I pulled my own version of their kit together.

We're creating a mini album using our contents with a "word of the day."
Their album size is a 6x6 but I'm going with a 6x8 version instead.
And I've pulled out some clear acrylic pages I made with the Accu-cut machine ages ago and have been saving for a rainy day.
Yesterday was our Day 0ne class!

With so many air-breathers in the house,
the closets are not up to dream home status.
They could be lovely and photogenic right??
So I'm whittling away at drawers and I'll start on the closets too
before we start school in a couple of weeks.

That's my mailbox.
Do I love it full of bills?
No.

But do I love it crammed full because the mail lady is way too lazy to march her tookus across the road to my door like a normal person??
Hell no!
And that's my latest Kreatorville Kraft kit folded and shoved way into the back of my itty-bitty ~~shoebox~~ mailbox.....poor paper.
And the USPS wonders why we send more emails.

Before I cleaned up my mess from the Sassafras challenge I decided to pull out a frame I haven't filled yet. I know I've seen this idea ~~everywhere~~ somewhere, what better time than the present. Here is the alphabet I started with. Don't you just love the woodgrain??

I pulled out my favorite Martha punch. No sense in wasting that great background!
And since the Sassafras challenge was to use 3+ different alphas on a project I just kept going with the inspiration.

This happens to be sitting next to my typewriter right now.....

Monkeyboy took a little trip with The Nana and brought me back some goodies for my candy dish.

I've gained some inspiration from Sassafras' August challenge.....use 3 different Sassafras alpha's on your project. I mixed it up with large, small and chipboard flavors. And I love these photos from Father's Day, so of course I printed them out to create with.

After I pulled this page together I was trying to figure out where it needed to be tweaked. With all the flowers on my project minus cute little leaves....well, I turned those extra "v" s into something interesting.

I have one more Sassafras piece to share with you tomorrow.

But for now,

I'm creating with my September Kreatorville kit this week.

The weather has been beautiful,

in the 60*s at night!

And I'm almost ready to start reading....

I figured I should borrow it and get going before the movie comes out this week ;)

I'm playing along with 2pea's Stamping class.

We were challenged to use a stamp resist technique with misting sprays.

I'm drooling over the sprays Nichol uses in the video this month.

But I bought a new bottle of clear embossing ink, and I hadn't used it yet.

So when I started this project I was excited to try out my new goody.

Unfortunately.....

I made a mess with the bottle and I didn't like the finished result after trying to use it a couple of different times. I was trying small designs with this embossing liquid, so maybe I'll have better results with a larger shaped stamp next time {if there is a next time;) }.

I went back to my handy dandy embossing pad and finished with my favorite Glimmer Mist colors. I took these photos while we were celebrating Cinco de Mayo at one of our local mexican restaurants. It was a long, fun dinner celebrating being together.

It's going to be a quiet day today.

My last project for July's Kreatorville kit just happens to be Vintage Chary. I love the new photo trend I'm seeing.... instagram photos, because quite a few of my childhood photos are in the same square size as this cool trend. With that said, I pulled out a couple of photos of my first girlfriend to create with!

Or the stamped label with the "hello friend" bee stamped into that?

Besides all the stamping I was able to do, I pulled out the Cricut and punches to use on my Kreatorville Kraft project. I even used some dusty brads I had laying around.....;)

It's Link Party time over at SEI.....

Random-teenager recently took up practicing her guitar cords.

And since "monkey see, monkey do" comes into affect often around our house....

I caught a few photos of the girls while they were playing around together.

I'm lovin my die cut machines lately. The clouds, guitar, diamonds, and frames were all cut on my Cricut. Everything else {except for the white carstock and buttons} are SEI products I happen to have handy! Check out their link party today!

I made these tastey little turkey sliders a bit ago.

First,

I woke up way to early for my own good this morning!
It's been a while since I've seen 5am for more than just emptying my tank.
But I was up and wandering,
then starting laundry,
and I thought---
"Shoot girl, get out the scissors!"

"Now, where's your Cricut ?"

I was strolling through the challenges over at 2peas last night,
so I was planning on creating today anyway.
{insert yawn here}

I actually wanted to use this really cute laundry line on my Cricut for a while, but it has a baby onesie hanging on it.... and me being the kind of woman that doesn't want to jinx a good thing when she's got it--
cut those baby clothes off immediately! ;)
So, there it is.
My early morning creativity.
Pretty good with no caffeine, huh?!
I think it's time for a nap now.

We stopped to take in a movie {or two} this week.
Since these two are not big Tom Riddle fans...

they decided to go see a less tense theatrical performance.

While us bigger kiddos went to see Tom finally get the end he deserved.

It was sad seeing Harry come to a close on the big screen.
And I'm glad they left in the end of the book,
without making it seem cheesy.

I finished reading Torment this week.
What a cliffhanger!
I'm on the waiting list for Passion at my local library.....
only 11 more people till I get it in my pretty little hands!

We took in the lovely sights of Pop's garden this week.
Reached 105* on the thermometer.
Paid for a visit to our favorite Doctor.....
to find out one of us has strep.
It's the middle of summer people.
Where did that come from????
Summer school finishes up next week and our attendee is SUPER excited.
And more confident!
And I had a LOVELY email today stating that I had won......

a gift certificate for a challenge over at 2peas!!!!!

Aside from the less than cooperative weather right now,
it's been a decent week for most of us.
So,
hopefully with all the kiddos tucked safely in their beds for the night,
and this post almost finished,
I can get a good nites rest
and dream of crafty projects to create over the weekend!

I'm loving this line by ki memories....

The colors are HOT! The graphics are so fun, and the embellishments are too cute. I {heart} the pockets for some reason though....I know I've seen them around before, but they are reeling me in.

I've had this idea in my inspiration folder for a few now. I get Design Sponge in my email box several times a week, and I'm always inspired by some fresh design idea they've managed to capture. I have a small shelf that could use a little inside treatment like this one..

We were out and about when I had the bright idea to stop at a nearby park for a little photo shoot. Unfortunately, they had an event going on and we were only able to get a few shots in.....but the location was perfect.

There has been tons of inspiration over at twopeas this week- it's only CHA in Chicago right now! So, I'm off to hit some of the challenges over there. Or maybe I'll peruse Pintrest today. Or I could catch up on all the product releases.....or get my Week in the Life stash together.....Or......

The July Reveal is up and running over at Kreatorville Kraft. You can hop, skip or jump on over there and check out all the new goodies Ms. Keandra has in store for you. I decided to start working on some recent events with this months kit. Which meant digging out some of the school photos from celebrations not too long ago. Like Yoda-Teens 8th grade Choir Awards Concert. He was super excited this year...they were able to participate in Circle The State, and took first place in their last two competitions.

I pulled out my quotations stamp to create my journaling spot. And because I used the same color as the background paper, I clear embossed the images before I journaled. I'm enjoying the calming effect of blue right now.

I pulled out Glimmer Mist, brads, and my Cricut from my stash to pull this double pager together. And the Cricut title caught my eye once I realized there was a sneaky pete in the portrait shot. That's how we roll around here, so it seems kind of fitting!

I pulled a Nicole Magourik on the next teaser.....

I've had my eye out for some word stamps, and it always ~~seems fitting~~ irritates me that they are usually sold out online. They must be a hot commodity, huh?? ;) So when I stumbled upon them at the craft store I knew I wanted to use them right away! I'll share more soon over at Kreatorville....keep an eye out.

Teenager #2 loves to randomly wear his fake mustache.

And during the 4th of July parade was also seen wearing a baseball cap.

But was keenly spotted by a girl, on a float, from his school-

who then proceeded to shout out his name

so everyone knew it was him!

Monkeyboy quickly told him to go with "Plan B" because "Plan A"

{being incognito}

had failed!

OK...back to our golf day...

Monkeyboy was just this shy of being able to driving his own car....

but he didn't mind being a co-poilet today.

They have a tiny "lagoon" filled with itty-bitty gators...

the kiddos get a kick out of watching them sun themselves.

But I wasn't about to put my cameraphone over for a photo.

I'm too clutzy- my phone would end up as their lunch. ;)

Sometimes I just have to take a break from the scissors and pull out a pencil or two.

Most of my doodles come from spotting something and wondering

how I'll interpret it on paper.

I definitley don't have my Masters in Art,

but....

I love to doodle!

And it doesn't hurt to pull out my watercolors when I'm done scribbling!

Now if I could just take a class for crocheters.

My how time flies!

Welcome July!

We've celebrated a week without kiddos

during Ranch Run-a-muck,

someone has turned a Big Eight,

our country has had a rather large birthday,

it's only been three weeks since we've been released from the ~~penn~~ (cough cough)school

and we're getting ready for summer school tomorrow!

I did manage to get a layout and a half created during my down time....

Everything you see in this layout came from the May Kreatorville Kraft kit!

I just love the Jillibean Soup die cut sheet in there and used the library die in my printer.

These are some closer shots of the tags I mailed out for the Kreatorville Kraft Tag swap.

I used the same rosette ribbon and color scheme on all the tags, but I ended up creating three to four tags at the same time instead of making them all the same scheme.

I had this great idea to add these little tags on top of the larger ones. And I stamped them with my new wood grain stamp, but I wasn't completely pleased with how they turned out. What do you think?

I Glimmer Misted all the tags before adding the extra goodies.

And I really love my border punch, BUT I think it's time to invest in a new design.

Any suggestions?

Foxglove!

I love these delicate spring flowers, and I'm hoping they make a lovely partner to the Bleeding Hearts in the same area. This spot is under an eave and doesn't get much sun, if any at all. I've had trouble finding something that has wanted to actually take root and stay a while. Only time will tell I guess!

But then we had to make a group poster for the talent show, and we came up with this....

The kids traced and cut out their hand and then I had the chance to play with the glitter!

I spent some time creating in 8.5x11 style in tribute to Kreatorville Krafts Founder.....Ms. Keandra! And of course I just so happened to have a May Kit to play with while I was creating. I'm still working with the bits and pieces I have left to create a few cards even. More on that later. But the top layout was created using the May Sketch....found HERE. And the next layout is one of my favorites so far!

May sketch again.....plus some Vintage Chary circa 1990.

I stamped that chipboard flower with American Crafts "Powder" pigment ink and my new wood grain stamp. And I started off the whole creative event with this next layout though. And I was drooling over all the pink in the kit and had this picture in mind when I started. Sometimes layouts just need to be simple and to the point.....right!

I have this altered project coming up next over at Kreatorville, so keep on the look-out for this...

~~We've been~~ I was catching up on the cleaning around our house, grocery shopping, playing chauffeur, laundry, the never ending list of domestic duties. We're enjoying the warmer weather, it just can't decide if it's going to finally be nice out there or NOT. One day it's 43* with a windchill of 36* and the next day it's raining and 80*. Sweatshirt and jeans or shorts and tank top? Heat or Air? With all the cool and rain it's hard to keep the windows open and enjoy the fresh air.....it's days away from June people! Strange.

Anywhoo....enjoy the holiday tomorrow!

I decided to try my hand at the FOLD challenge over at 2peas for NSD.

And I made sure to pull out my stamps again!

The idea was to fold something on your layout.

But then I spent more time trying to get the journaling printed out then I did actually making the layout.

whirlwind weekend...

I was surprised at how fast this past week flew by.
Two Saturdays ago we went over to the library
and the kiddos tried their hand at sushi.

We finished up and went straight over to the local hobby shop for Free Comic Book Day.

By then there wasn't a whole lot of day left and I managed to squeeze in ONE double page spread before National Scrapbook Day had drawn to a close. I'll share that with you later! Fast forward to Sunday morning and I was served breakfast, cards and gifts in bed for Mother's Day. Aren't they the best!? They even managed to go out in the lovely weather and get my vehicle cleaned up for me. Then a quick visit from our Favorite Nana {and Pop} and all was well with the world.

I'm quickly eating away at the piles of this and that in my studio, and even dragged out the old typewriter to blow the dust out. Dinner, showers and then I went to bed that night exhausted.

I need to get a nap in that week before we took the kindergartners on their field trip to the zoo! Thankfully it didn't rain.......but the fog rolled in at lunchtime!

Did you celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a little fiesta of your own?
I had to have a little guacamole....

The other night we were honored to be a part of the induction of our middle schools version of the Masons...the National Junior Honor Society.
I sat proud while my third born was inducted into the "best of the best" his principal said. She went on to introduce them as our nations next movers and shakers. It's a good day when my kiddos are awarded for their best efforts.

Yesterday I took this photo....
and then I edited in Picnik.....

I was shocked to see such a wide rainbow in the sky,
minus any amount of rain!

Today is going to be a very busy day.
Since scrapbookers are celebrating National Scrapbook Day I'm playing over at 2peas. And in the middle of it all the kiddos Anime Club is making sushi and it just happens to be Free Comic Book Day at our local Hobby shop!
I see photos in my future.....
too bad my camera is acting up! I've used it so vehemently in the last few years that it wants to retire in the middle of my photo shoots. I think it's time for a new one.

Monday we kicked off the week with a cute little treat bar.
And I made sure there was a "menu" of the weeks festivities this time....

Monkeyboy and I are sending Easter Blessings from our house to yours.

We're spending a quiet day together.

This week we took some time to color easter eggs.

And since it was Earth Day Friday

I thought it would be a great idea to use some eco friendly dye.....

Kool-aid!

I wanted to boost the color of my photos a bit

so I sent them to my favorite photo editor.

I love how Picnik allows you to edit photos online.

The top one is an original, straight from my camera.

Send it to Picnik and add a little Boost,

corner rounding

and you have a Picnik-fied photo....

I love how the Pretty Princess added stripes to her eggs.

And the blue raspberry kool-aid makes a nice teal color.

And eventually the dye wears off your fingers!

I loved how the kitchen smelled fruity from the kool-aid.

I picked up this cute little stamp from Imaginisce and used her for one of the April pea challenges.

And since I was already in the stamping mood, I took up another pea challenge and stamped some journaling on a layout. I don't remember working with these photos yet and thought they would go great with this new paper I picked up from Little Yellow Bicycle.

It's the final hours of Spring Break here.

And today is said to be in the 60's!!

a little giddy when I found this book at my favorite book store recently.
Pardon the fuzzy photo.

Since I already own several shades of felt, I thought I would finally do something with it! One of my favorite sections......the felt laptop!

I used another puffie from my Ki puffie stash. I'm catching up with the 4x6 Photo Love challenge over at the peas. This happens to be the January challenge, 1 photo and a sketch. I've been itching to scrap this photo Big Daddy and I took during the blizzard this year while we were out shoveling for the gazillionth time that day.

I did run some more felt through the Cuttlebug to make some more snowballs.

I'll be playing with some new paper I picked up at the scrapbook store this week. I seriously haven't bought any supplies since before Christmas! For shame...... I know!

Even though it's rainy here, it's a new month. Like they say~ April Showers right?! I've been playing over with the peas today.....they've launched some new venues and have a month long event going on! And of course I had to take advantage of the last few days of Spring Break playing with paper and scissors {I also heard through the grape vine I have a rather lovely package coming my way from Kreatorville.....}.

I was able to get in a few good rounds already this week and thought it was time to share......I can't get enough of my polaroid die cut from Quickutz.

I've had these papers from My Minds Eye for a while now and finally pulled them out of my stash. I just love their colors and even dug deep when I used the Heidi Swapp photo corners on the next one!

Finally, a frame I made for the girlz room. See the woodgrain butterflies?? And the new puffies from Ki? I did have to ~~splurge~~ twist my arm to buy these at the store recently.

Aren't they too sweet for their own good?

Once a month for the entire year.

I have to play a little catch up but I'm excited.
So I started with the February challenge~
two 4x6 photos and a sketch.
Easy enough right!?

I pulled out the blizzard photos from February, found the perfect two for the sketch and riffled through all my supplies to find something to play around with. I wanted to make a few snowballs so I found a sheet of fleece I own and my Cuttlebug. {use a shim when you cut fleece with your Cuttlebug~ like a scrap of cardstock or two.}

I also used a Crafter's Workshop template to trace out the snow border.

March's challenge is already up over at 2peas....

3 photos and a sketch.

How wonderful!

Now I just need three photos for March.....

I'm enjoying my crafty time while we're on spring break.

It's tough taking care of kindergarteners everyday,

but it has it's perks.

I'm not completely back on task yet.
But it's a start right?!
And it sure helps to be nominated the Chair of the Teachers Thank You Card Commitee. What does all the responsibility include...mass producing 60+ cards for teachers and staff for Teacher Appreciation Week. Yeah, I could buy a box of cheapo cards and sign our thanks, BUT that wouldn't be me.
So you're looking at the start of my endeavor.

These two are just a couple I've had sitting around, waiting to be stitched.

I made this mini album for last months Kreatorville Kit.

I have this cool idea to take a photo of each of our family members and jot down a few quirks from their Zodiac Sign. I had a few laughs when I googled personality traits for each persons zodiac. Making the guts of this mini is going to be so fun when I finally find some time!

We've had snow here already!

Like 4" over night....

So, of course we had to buy a new winter hat.

Then we immediately went into Indian summer,

close to 70* for five days straight!

And then it was time to attend the ROTC Ball....

We saw "Despicable Me" at the free movie this past weekend....

super funny!

But that means no more free movies until the spring.

It's been crazy busy at work....

the kiddos have been fighting sinus infections....

there are only 39 days until Christmas morning....

and I'm ready for a vacation.

Hmmmmm.....

A drive down to Florida sounds nice right about now!

By the weather outside,

I can sure tell it's November along Lake Michigan....bbbrrrrrr!

The FREE movie this weekend is Ramona and Beezus!

I'm excited...can you tell??

It looks like the cutest movie

and reminds me of a couple of crazy kiddos in my house too.

I think after seeing that free movie I'll have to pull out the craft supplies

and make some more free happy time scrapping with my November Kit from Kreatorville Kraft!

Plus....we're on countdown mode for the big Sweet Sixteen.

She's already picked out a theme!

I'll keep that under wraps for a day or two.....

and it doesn't include the color pink....

Let's take a walk down memory lane.

Both of my girls, around the same age.

I thought they would make a great addition to my Wonderland box.

We had fun watching the kiddos run around school for the Halloween parade this week.

And we had a blast trick or treating with our Crazy-Mad Scientists and Duke the GI Joe.

The weather held off and it made for a wonderful evening too! If you're in the midwest like I am, you know how crazy windy it's been this past week. And with the wind have been these amazing clouds....

I love clouds.

So, it's been a crazy busy week.

And the next month or two will be much of the same.
